"take picture" flow results in client white screen

We have an issue where 2 different “take picture” flows will “white screen” on the client device. Not all the time but given enough time (or repetitions of the device), it will happen. One flow has been in place for years & has been working fine up till about 3 months ago. The flow itself has not had updates. The other flow is newer, only being in place for about 6-8 months.

We are using multiple Zebra (android) devices, and the NG client, version 3.24.4. The devices have 4GB of memory and some testing devices were rebooted less than 24 hours prior to the issue. We have over 100 devices in use. The issues is present on many of the devices. All devices are managed using MDM. We tested inside out outside of MDM and the issue was present with and without MDM.

This happens at different sites (geographic locations) & different Zebra scanners/tablets (most likely ruling out network)

Our Novacura Server version is 6.15.12.23 & the Novacura Server Manager version is 6.15.6.7.

Are studio log files able to be enabled or setup to capture issue? Can debug be run from device and not just studio developer?

Any other ideas what might be the cause.

Sounds like it could be a RAM issue on the devices, since you mentioned pictures?
Unfortunatley there is no easy way to debug that, especially for an end user. But some memory optimizations have been made for the Android client, which are currently undergoing testing.

With a bit of luck, your issues could be resolved if we assume it is a memory issue.

Are there any screenshots you can provide of the “white screen”? I know it’s also a bit tricky on devices, but maybe a picture of the screen?
