Hi there - a while ago we created an offline flow that allowed users to be in an environment where there was no wifi or mobile signal, and this has been working well for our users. I’ve been asked to create a similar offline flow for a new process, and I’ve been copying a lot of the code for the original flow for this new one, however I’ve come across an issue which I can’t figure out at the moment. In the original flow, one of the Swimlane crossings was configured to set the Recipient to ‘Previous User (if any), then Swimlane Roles’ and the user is automatically set to {previousSwimlaneUser}, however if I try to set this for my new flow, I get an error saying Cannot resolve variable ‘previousSwimlaneUser’ - where is this variable set, I can’t see anything obvious
Hi,
To me, that sounds like a bug. Could you put in a JSM ticket via our support and attach a very simplified example of it? And what server version you are / were on.
Hi there,
It does look like a version issue - at the moment our DEV and TEST systems are on v6.14.13.8, whereas Production is still on an earlier version (v6.13.7.39658) - I tried copying the flow over to the Production server, and the error is not there any more, so it seems to be related to v6.14.13.8, is it work upgrading our DEV server to a newer version to check if the bug is fixed?
If it is worth it? Yes, I would say so. There are many improvements in 6.15, so I would recommend trying to go all the way up.
