I’m using a table portlet but I don’t find any way to format the date and time presentation.
The date is being preseted with an American format (like: 3/26/25, 8:21 PM) but I want to change the format for a european format. (like 26/03/25 20:21)
I read in this forum, for a similar topic, but not related with this portlet, that the format presentation is based on the locale of the user, but my locale configuration in windows is portuguese so, it seems that doesn’t apply to this portlet.
How can I change the date/time presentation?
Thanks
If your date format is setup correctly in Windows and/or your browser, the date displayed in Portal should follow the same format. Can you check if you have “Time Offset” activated in the portal?
The “Time Offset” is activated.
My windows configuration is configured with localization and DateTime format for Portugal.
I tested with edge, Firefox and Chrome and all show the datetime with american format.
As you can see by the image below, window has a portuguese datetime format.
Hello,
The language in flow is also with Portuguese format and, in the flow configuration, the datetime format that is presented is the portuguese one.
Summarising the problem: I have tested the table portlet in different machines with different users but in all the date time is presented with the american format (like: 2/26/25, 8:21 PM)
In the novacura local server, in the flow user configuration i can see the portuguese datetime format (like 26/02/25 20:21) but even in this machine the table portlet presented in the browser in with the american format.
It could be worth upgrading, as a few newer versions are out there now.
But also, what happens if you display the data as text (not datetime)? Are you using flow as a data source, or querying a database directly from the portal?
Hello @ivstde, thanks for your detailed answer.
Because the same test you did was not working with me, I have upgraded Novacura for the latest version (which happened only today) but even with the new version Novacura was not presenting the DateTime with the portuguese format
So, I tried with the uk location and… surprise, it worked.
So, it seems that Novacura don’t have the configuration for the Portuguese datetime format. As workarround, we are now configuring the users to be located in uk
