Error loading discovery document - popup after SIGN IN button on multiple devices

Hello, we have this error directly after login button, but no solution for the devices with this error.

Error loading discovery document: Error connecting to

https://ncflow.b2clogin.com/ncflow.onmicrosoft.com/b2c_1a_signin/v2.0/.well-known/openid-configuration .

Connection failure.

In browser on the device I can open the URL - Edge and Chrome is installed.

No solution from Novacura support, perhaps someone here already solved same problem?

The only solution I know is to reinstall the device. But we have a lot of devices with this error at the moment.

Many thanks for your help in advance.

  1. Compare Wi-Fi vs mobile hotspot.
Put an affected device on a completely different network/hotspot and try Novacura again. If it suddenly works, focus on SSL inspection, proxying, DNS filtering, firewall rules, or certificate deployment on the customer’s network.
  2. Check certificate inspection / corporate CA certificates.
If the organization uses something like Zscaler, Netskope, Palo Alto SSL inspection, Fortinet, etc., the browser may trust the organization’s installed CA while the application’s HTTP stack may not. That produces exactly the kind of situation where the browser works but the app reports a connection failure.
  3. Check Android date/time.
Make sure automatic date/time and timezone are enabled. Incorrect system time can cause TLS validation to fail before authentication even starts.
  4. Clear Novacura app data rather than reinstalling the entire device.
Go to Android Settings → Apps → Novacura → Storage → Clear storage/data, then reconfigure the client. If that fixes it, reinstalling Android is fixing some local state/cache rather than an Azure B2C configuration problem.
  5. If clearing Novacura data doesn’t work, try removing/reinstalling only the Novacura application before considering a device reset.
