I know the desire is for customers to move onto Flow Connect, but is Flow Classic compatible with IFS Cloud? and are there any timescales for when Flow Classic may become unsupported?

Flow classic is compatible with IFS Cloud with the OData connector.
EOL of Classic is honestly not yet decided, but a decision on that will probably be made this year and then communicated.

Sorry another small question - will machine steps that have SQL queries in them need to be re-written to use rest APIs etc instead when using IFS Cloud and OData? e.g.
Yes.
There then is a way to migrate the Odata to Connect, but it is of course less work to do it direclty in Connect. So if possible, consider moving to connect at the same time (or connect first where SQLs will work, then IFS Cloud)
