Hi All,
Presently in document view portlet, we can preview only .pdf but for other formats, it asks for download.
Can’t we generate preview for other format?

You are right as of now only preview for .pdf files is available.
There is an existing feature request raised on our Ideas forum which is related to this. [Preview/View file attachments without downloading – How can we improve Novacura Flow?]
Please do comment and vote on the idea so that product team could make a decision on it.
