# Word template connector

Hi,

We at Novacura are considering a word connector. The idea is to let the workflow insert values into a Word template (for example, for quote creation).

There are some different ways to use placeholders in Word:  
**Content Controls** , **MERGEFIELD (Mail Merge fields)**, and **plain-text placeholders** (`{{tag}}`).

Each has pros and cons. Has anyone worked with these and have an opinion on which we should support in Flow Connect?
