# Scheduling and timezones

When do we have support for Timezones in Portal 2`?

Today, Portal 2 supports Timezones within some Portlets themselves. This means if you pass UTC time into a Portlet, it will convert it to the client’s timezone automatically. An example of this can be found in the Scheduler Portlet. Custom buttons currently do not support the passing of timezones, but I have heard that this might be in the next release.
